[img_assist|nid=1929|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=166|height=250] As if to prove the Director of Døøm was right in her year-end assessment, FDO™ "Archnemesis" JCHutchinssss has nominated CONTAGIOUS for a Nebula award this year. (I told you he was a scholar and a gentleman.)

The nomination gets CONTAGIOUS on the qualifying list, but to become a finalist, it'll have to secure enough votes.  By end of day today, February 15, 2010.

Not sure where we stand right now, but if you're a member of the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America, and you dug CONTAGIOUS, I'd appreciate it if you'd throw CONTAGIOUS a vote.

Need a refresher course in CONTAGIOUS?  Check it out here, here, or here.

To vote, just sign in, and nominate away.  (As a reminder, you have to be a member of the SFWA.)

And since I'm pimping already, I'll say that if you're already a member of this year's AussieCon4, I'll confirm that CONTAGIOUS is eligible for this year's Hugo Awards.  Nominations are underway until March 13, 2010, although campaigning is discouraged.

But if you enjoyed CONTAGIOUS, the fine folks at WSFC (World Science Fiction Convention) encourage making recommendations at a couple of third party sites:  here & here
